Rent Payment Terms
Last updated: February 7, 2026
1. Service Description
The Welcome Payment Platform allows you to make rental and other property-related payments electronically. By using this service, you agree to these terms and the terms of our third-party payment processors.
2. Payment Methods
We support the following payment methods:
- ACH (Bank Transfer): Direct debit from a checking or savings account.
- Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Amex (subject to network availability).
3. Transaction Fees
Transaction fees are determined by the payment method selected:
- ACH: Typically free or low-cost flat fee (see checkout for current rates).
- Credit/Debit Cards: A percentage-based convenience fee is applied to the transaction total.
Fees are non-refundable, even if the payment is later returned or refunded.
4. Processing Times
Payments are considered "initiated" when you submit them on the platform.
- ACH: May take 3-5 business days to clear.
- Cards: Typically process immediately.
Rule of Thumb: Initiate payments at least 3 business days before the due date to ensure timely receipt, although we record the "Submit Date" for on-time verification.
5. Late Payments and Returns
If a payment is returned for Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) or any other reason:
- You will be charged a Returned Payment Fee (as defined in your lease).
- Your rent payment will be considered unpaid/late.
- We may restrict your ability to make online payments in the future.
6. Autopay
By enrolling in Autopay, you authorize us to automatically debit the amount due from your selected payment method on the scheduled day of each month. It is your responsibility to update payment details if your bank account changes.
7. Errors and Disputes
If you believe a payment was made in error, contact support immediately. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in account termination and legal action to recover funds.
